The Lesson of
Independence |
On 14th August we all celebrated the Independence Day with zeal and
enthusiasm. Every year we take our kids to barbecues and watch
fireworks and other
entertainment,
but do we really teach them to appreciate the rich history of our
beloved country Pakistan? Did
we teach our children the importance of Independence Day? Tell them
about the sacrifices of millions peoples to get the freedom from the
jaws of time servers.
The live nations remembered always their martyrdoms and
advance their mission. Unfortunately
we have become the dead motion nation, who live in present and have
forgot the history of freedom, so null and void the lesson and
importance of independence.
Quaid-e-Azam was declared the Pakistan, a welfare state for every
one either Muslims or minorities, but the Pakistanis are searching
welfare from the time of its birth. The dream seen by Quaid for this
country has been come to nothing. The state has been run as per
adhoc basis, where the welfare has become a daydream.
Right now we celebrate the Independence Day in huge & heavy firing
at right time of 12.00, and create the harassment & irritation among
the society. Are we giving this type of awareness and education to
our children and young? Was the reward of independence?
In civilized countries the peoples gathered on their National Day
and remembered their founders and martyrdoms. They visit the
hospitals and old houses and do the philanthropy to celebrate the
true Independence.
In the present, the need of teach the lesson of independence to our
children is essential so that the cause to create the Pakistan at
least to call a halt in their minds. But, in the mean time we are
forget peoples of our history and an intellectual says, that nations
are wipe out whose forgot their past.
